Akira

I can't write an honest bio for this one, and here's why. "Akira" resolves to at least four unrelated artists with no overlap in sound: - **Akira (NL)** — Kin Wing Lam, Dutch speedcore/gabber DJ, runs Hong Kong Violence and HKVZ, plays Thunderdome and Masters of Hardcore - **DJ Akira (CZ)** — Czech drum & bass, liquid funk and neurofunk - **Akira Akira** — LA producer, jersey club and trap, released via Mad Decent - **D.J. Akira (JP)** — 90s trance-leaning techno, records like *Groove Machine* and *Tokyo 2000* The internal data points the same way: a genre list running from Deep House and Tribal House through Dub Techno, Trance, and Hardcore isn't one artist's range, it's several artists sharing a name in the same bucket. And there are no festivals, clubs, top tracks, or productions in the data at all, so there's nothing artist-specific to anchor on. Any bio I write would be picking one of those four at random and attaching it to sets that mostly belong to the others. Recommendation: leave this page without a bio until the artist records are split. If you can tell me which Akira the page is actually meant to be, or send me a couple of set URLs from it, I'll write it properly. The Dutch hardcore one has by far the most verifiable material.
