Paris-based DJ and producer Gaspar Cornuel, performing as Amor Satyr, is a key figure in the French underground club scene. He co-runs the WAJANG record label alongside frequent collaborator Siu Mata, with whom he pioneered a fast-paced blend of pitched-up Latin rhythms and heavy basslines known as "speed dembow". His high-energy productions and DJ sets span a wide range of styles, combining elements of tribal techno, baile funk, breakbeat, and jungle. Amor Satyr has released music on underground labels like TraTraTrax, Hardline, and Seilscheibenpfeiler, which issued his prominent 2023 EP *Transfer*. On set79, his fast-tempo, bass-heavy sound is captured across 13 recorded sets.
