Dutch DJ and producer Leon Bolier launched the BLR project to focus on a melodic club sound that blends techno, house, and trance. Under this moniker, BLR broke through with the track "Nungwi," which was the inaugural release on Tiësto's AFTR:HRS label. Subsequent music has been released on Spinnin' Deep, Heldeep Records, and Reinier Zonneveld's Filth on Acid. Recorded sets on set79 reflect this genre-crossing approach, spanning techno, trance, and dance music.
