Cosmic Gate
German trance duo Cosmic Gate, consisting of Claus Terhoeven and Stefan Bossems, formed in the city of Krefeld in 1999. Initially producing hard trance, they rose to prominence with their breakout UK Top 10 single "Fire Wire" and the classic "Exploration of Space". Over the years, their sound shifted toward a progressive trance and melodic house style, releasing music on labels like Black Hole Recordings and Armada Music. They run their own label, Wake Your Mind Records, which also hosts their long-running weekly radio show. On set79, Cosmic Gate's recorded sets showcase this evolution from hard trance anthems to deep progressive sets.
