Effy

London-based DJ and producer, raised just outside Blackpool, who runs the Not Yours label and club night, both named after her 2022 single. Effy's productions put classic house through acid techno, warehouse-pitched rather than melodic, with the EP The Highest Level out on Steel City Dance Discs. Jungle, electro and drum & bass all turn up in her recorded sets alongside the techno, a holdover from the rave and d'n'b she grew up on.
