A professional surfer on Australia's Gold Coast before he ever DJed, FISHER came into dance music through the tech house duo Cut Snake and went solo in 2017. His debut single Ya Kidding came out on Dirtybird, but he started his own label, Catch & Release, for Losing It, which went platinum at home and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording. The sound is loud, hook-first tech house built for mainstages, and it shows in where he plays: Tomorrowland, EDC and Lollapalooza all turn up in his recorded sets.
