Father Funk

A multi-instrumentalist who played guitar, bass, drums and trombone in punk and ska bands, Father Funk now builds tracks from funk, hip-hop and disco samples cut with glitch hop, breaks and dubstep. Shambhala's Fractal Forest is his home stage, played year after year, with a free mix posted for it most summers. Releases have come through Ghetto Funk and Liquid Stranger's WAKAAN, and the 2025 album Funk The System pushed his live playing further to the front.
