Jan Blomqvist

Berlin-based live performer and singer Jan Blomqvist plays a style of electronic music often called "concert techno," which blends vocals with melodic house and techno. Performing with a band or as a solo act, Jan Blomqvist sings and plays instruments live on stage rather than playing traditional DJ sets. He releases music on Stil vor Talent and Armada Music, and runs his own label, Disconnected. Across recorded sets on set79, his tracks "More" and "The Space In Between" appear frequently, reflecting a sound rooted in melodic techno and organic house.
