Joel Mull
Part of the first wave of Swedish techno that came out of Stockholm in the mid-90s alongside Adam Beyer, Cari Lekebusch and Jesper Dahlbäck. Beyer taught Mull to mix during school lunch breaks, and the two have been circling each other since: Mull co-founded the Parabel label and has released on Drumcode, Cocoon and Harthouse, which put out his album The Observer. He plays deep, rolling techno rather than hard peak-time material, and has been a regular at Berghain and Tresor.
