Michael Mayer
As a co-founder of the Cologne-based label Kompakt, Michael Mayer helped define the sound of German microhouse and melodic techno. He is first and foremost a DJ, with recorded sets on set79 that span techno, post-disco, and synth-pop. His discography includes the *Immer* mix compilation series, his debut album *Touch*, and remixes for acts like Depeche Mode and Pet Shop Boys. In Cologne, Michael Mayer co-founded the long-running Total Confusion club night and plays regularly at clubs like Panorama Bar in Berlin and Fabric in London.
