Miss Kittin
Frank Sinatra, the deadpan 1998 single cut with The Hacker, made Miss Kittin one of electroclash's defining voices and set the template for the flat-spoken vocals she still delivers live over her own DJ sets. The Grenoble-raised DJ built her early catalogue on DJ Hell's International DeeJay Gigolo Records, then launched nobody's bizzness in 2008 to put out her own records, including the ambient techno album Cosmos under the shortened name Kittin. Her sets have since moved a long way from the electroclash years into stripped-back, hard-edged techno and electro.
