Rio de Janeiro rapper working between trap and uptempo baile funk, with roots in proibidão, the funk subgenre built around life in the city's favelas. Oruam broke out on "Invejoso" in 2021, signed to Orochi's Mainstreet label the following year, and landed his biggest hit with "Oh Garota Eu Quero Você Só Pra Mim." His 2025 debut album Liberdade drew as much political argument in Brazil as it did chart success, and his tracks turn up regularly in funk and trap sets.
