Pessimist
Based in Bristol, DJ and producer Pessimist crafts a dark, minimalist hybrid of drum & bass and techno. He co-founded the label UVB-76 Music and runs his own imprint, Pessimist Productions, while releasing music on Blackest Ever Black, AD 93, and Ilian Tape. The 2016 single "Balaklava" and his self-titled 2017 debut album established his approach of merging industrial techno with jungle breakbeats. On set79, his recorded DJ sets feature a deep blend of techno, drum and bass, and trip hop.
