Plastikman
Rooted in the Windsor and Detroit techno scenes, Plastikman is the primary minimalist alias of Richie Hawtin. He shaped the minimal techno and acid house genres in the early 1990s, using stripped-back Roland TB-303 and TR-909 patterns. His release catalog includes the 1993 single "Spastik" and the album *Sheet One*, put out on labels like Plus 8 and NovaMute. On set79, recorded sets document the project's live performances at venues ranging from Windsor club The Building to the Guggenheim Museum.
