Ron Trent
Chicago deep house producer whose first release, Altered States, came out on Armando's Warehouse Records in 1990 and is still played as a house classic. In 1993 Ron Trent and Detroit's Chez Damier started Prescription Records, and he now also runs Future Vision. His recent records lean further into jazz-funk and fusion. The 2022 album What Do the Stars Say to You came out under the WARM name on Night Time Stories and features Khruangbin, Azymuth's Ivan Conti and Jean-Luc Ponty.
