A pioneer of Detroit minimal techno, Daniel Bell is a Berlin-based DJ and producer. He co-founded the Elevate label with Theo Parrish and runs his own imprints, Accelerate and 7th City. Under his DBX alias, Daniel Bell produced the 1994 track "Losing Control". He releases stripped-down minimal techno on labels such as Tresor, Logistic, and Perlon, and holds a residency at Robert Johnson in Frankfurt.
