Gene Farris
One of the early residents at Frankie Knuckles' Power House, Gene Farris went on to hold an eight-year run at Chicago's Boom Boom Room, and his sets still swing between disco, raw acid house and tech house. He has run his own label, Farris Wheel Recordings, since 1998, with releases also landing on Cajual, Relief and Defected. Space Girl, his first single for Dirtybird, is the track most people know him by now.
