Maz
Brazilian DJ and producer Maz is a central figure in the global Afro house scene, known for blending traditional Brazilian percussion and Portuguese vocals with deep club grooves. In 2020, he co-founded the record label Dawn Patrol Records alongside fellow producer Antdot, using the platform to release indigenous-influenced tracks like his Beatport chart-topper "Amana". His breakout remix of Luedji Luna's "Banho de Folhas" became one of the best-selling Afro house tracks on Beatport between 2022 and 2023. Recorded sets on set79 capture Maz performing at major international events like Tomorrowland and CORE Festival, where his collaborative single "Nothing On Me" alongside Apache and Maxi Meraki remains a frequent fixture.
