The Advent

Established in 1993, the London-based project The Advent is spearheaded by Cisco Ferreira, who produces raw, fast-paced Detroit techno and electro. He runs the Kombination Research label and has released music on Tresor, Klockworks, and Cultivated Electronics. The project's 1995 debut album *Elements of Life* established its sound, followed by solo works like *T.R.I.N.I.T.Y* on Tresor. On set79, recorded sets from The Advent feature high-tempo, hardware-driven techno.
