Originally from Breda, Netherlands, this pioneering DJ and producer helped shape the global trance movement before transitioning into commercial dance and EDM. He co-founded the influential Black Hole Recordings in 1997, releasing seminal mix series like *Magik* and *In Search of Sunrise*, and later established his own Musical Freedom imprint. His career-defining tracks include his monumental 2000 remix of Delerium's "Silence" and the solo anthem "Adagio for Strings".
