Markus Schulz
Miami-based German DJ and producer Markus Schulz is a prominent figure in progressive trance, known for a style that bridges euphoric melodies with darker, driving techno elements. He is the founder of Coldharbour Recordings, an influential outlet for deep progressive and trance music since 2005. Beyond his studio work, he hosts the long-running weekly radio show Global DJ Broadcast and frequently performs under his darker alias, Dakota. Across his recorded performances on set79, his sets capture peak-time energy at major events like Transmission and Tomorrowland, featuring signature anthems such as "Destiny" and his collaboration with Frankyeffe, "Monolith".
